Home Theatre

The range of technology available for the home right now is simply staggering - HD tv’s HD satellite, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, Media Centre PC’s, video iPods, plasma screens, projectors……the list goes on.

We are here to help you integrate all the technology you want to use and teach you how to use it.

In increasing levels of complexity the home theatre generally goes as follows:

1. Plasma / LCD flat screen ­ digital tv / Sky / DVD connected
2. Surround sound system with associated tuner
3. Integration of Xbox / Playstation and PC
4. Projector and screen setup
5. Transmission of audio and video throughout the house

Obviously it is easier if you do everything at once, but in practice less than half of our customers take this route unless they are already refurbishing the house.

At the end of the day, a Home Theatre should reproduce as far as is practically possible the picture and sound quality found in a modern day cinema ­ we’ll also throw in a novelty popcorn maker!

Expanding upon this are Media Centres - PC’s with huge amounts of data storage that can be connected to your screen to play music videos, downloaded movies, home videos and photos. Music can be downloaded to it, the internet can be browsed on it and it really brings a media rich experience to your front room.
